Travel Day – Santiago to Buenos Aires: Week 13 / Day 86 / April 6
Buenos Aires, Argentina: Last travel day before heading home. We were up and out fairly early to get to the airport. As we left, I took some last pictures to capture our odd parking situation. The apartment was advertised as having free parking onsite. When we rented the car, I could not figure out where that parking would be. I jokingly suggested to Linda that we could just park in the lobby of the building.
That is where we parked.
Our trip to Buenos Aires went smoothly and we arrived at our new apartment around 4:00 PM. We went for a stroll around some of the nearby parks later in the evening.
There were some interesting trees to be seen – the thorns present on this tree trunk are something I have not seen a lot elsewhere.
Even more interesting were the sheer number of people and dogs out and about.
Everyone seemed to be out in the parks to play something (soccer, volleyball, ping pong), practice something, or get their picture taken.
After our walk, we ended up back near our apartment and had dinner at a cafe across the street.
