After a bit of a rest we headed back out again to explore some more of Sevilla. We headed down towards Catedral de Sevilla. It is a rather immense structure and one that will certainly bear further exploration (probably on Monday).

After the cathedral we headed over to Universidad de Sevilla and explored a bit.

Unfortunately, much of the university was inaccessible, but the limited parts we saw were impressive. After the university, we headed over to the Parque de Maria Luisa. This park is quite large with a number of different gardens, plants, trees, buildings, and fountains.

One last thing to note was the crowd we saw in the plaza right outside our apartment this afternoon. Shown below is the crowd in front of a bar on the plaza.

It may not be entirely clear from this picture, but most of the rest of the square was empty. These people are just packed in front of one particular bar. I asked one of the customers why this was the case and he basically said, “because they sell beer.” I pointed out that all of the other bars on the square also sell beer. He noted that this bar sells lots of beer and apparently one particular brand at a low price.

After a bit of googling this made a bit more sense (sort of).
